What is TimeNeto?
TimeNeto is a biometric, web based, time and attendance system.

What is so special about TimeNeto?
It is easy to use, fast to set up, reliable and a low cost.TimeNeto will allow your employees to clock-in and clock-out using a USB fingerprint device connected to a computer.
You will be able to collect time and attendance information from your employees in different locations and monitor them from any computer with internet access.

How do I get started?

What happens if my internet connection fails or the network server fails?
Don’t worry. TimeNeto will store the “clock-ins” and transfer them when you are back on line.

What is the maximum distance from the computer the fingerprint reader should be placed?
The TimeNeto reader can be placed up to two meters away from a computer.

Can I use any biometric reader?
Yes, but we would need to check what type of reader you have and make sure it is compatible with our software.

What about confidentiality?
The system does not save user names with their fingerprints.
Every fingerprint is a number and it is impossible to tell whose finger it is.

Is the fingerprint stored as a Jpeg?
No, the fingerprint is not stored as an image. It is stored as a 128 digit number.

How long does it take to install the TimeNeto software and the reader?
In our most recent test, it took 9 minutes.

Who will install the TimeNeto reader and software?
It is an easy installation. You will be able to complete the installation within approximately 9 minutes.
If you do incur any problems we can install this for you remotely.

How quickly will TimeNeto identify an employee or user?
Approximately 2 seconds.

Will there be a limit to the number of users?
No. You can choose how many users you want to register, check out the buy a monthly license link to check how much it will cost you to the number of employees/users you have

Can information leak out?
No, Information is encrypted within the system and is protected by the world's most advanced systems per ISO 17799.

Can the software calculate wages?
Yes, TimeNeto displays an Excel based wage calculation table, you only need to add the hourly rate you are paying and then total it up

Can holiday and sick leave be entered? 
Yes. The administrator can enter an employee's sick leave or holidays manually by using the "edit employee's time" option.

I already have TimeNeto and I have a question:

How long does it take to register a new employee?
It takes between 1 and 3 minutes.

How do I determine which finger to register?
TimeNeto will make a recommendation of which finger to use.

How many times must I place my finger on the reader for the system to identify it?
If the registration is completed correctly there is no need to do it again.
When logging on – place your finger correctly and you only need to do this once.

How can I be sure that a new employee’s details have been input?
At the end of the registration process, press the “trial” button.

What can I do if the software does not approve an employee’s fingerprint when registering?
Re-store the original employees fingerprint to provide an updated sample.
Add an additional fingerprint to the sample provided.
To create alternative fingerprints, that may be certified, scan at least two fingers.

An employee forgot to register when entering or leaving?
The system administrator can perform a manual correction of entry or exit by using the Edit Employee Time option.
Your administrator can check whether an employee forgot to register entry using the employee status report

Do I need to press my finger down hard when registering?
No the system allows you to press gently but firmly
